Fiery XF SMSA messages and explanations
Message 1:
“Your Software Maintenance & Support Agreement is active and will expire on month/day/year." (e.g. May 14, 2025)
Explanation 1:
This message only occurs for customers who purchased a non-auto-renewal SMSA. This SMSA type requires you to purchase an SMSA renewal to continue to be covered. As this SMSA type is a non-auto-renewal agreement, an expiration date is shown. The message example shows an SMSA that is still active, and not expired yet.
Action 1:
No action is required until 30 days before the expiry of your SMSA, at this point, we recommend to order a one or multiple years SMSA renewal. If you order your SMSA renewal after the expiry of your SMSA, the SMSA renewal will be backdated. SMSA renewals start one day after the previous SMSA’s expiration date, regardless of how long ago the SMSA expired. If your SMSA is expired more than two years, we recommend to order the latest Fiery XF upgrade that comes with a 1 YR SMSA included. If you do not renew your agreement, you will no longer be entitled to major or minor upgrades, new device drivers, or product support from Fiery.
