OS Update for Fiery System Software


This OS update addresses an issue where installing software on a Fiery server, or changing the system language, may fail due to premature expiration of a Microsoft software signing certificate. This failure only applies to Fiery proServer products shipped with System Software DVDs 2 and 3 with a version string of "win764.1.1.1.11a", which is printed on the DVDs.


You must update Microsoft Windows 7 Professional For Embedded Systems 64-bit by downloading and installing the OS update image files on the Fiery server. The OS update replaces Fiery System Software DVDs 2 and 3.

The OS update image files are 7 GB total. Before you begin, make sure that you have a proper internet connection for downloading the OS update image files.

  1. Accept the Microsoft End User License Agreement.
  2. Download the OS update image files.
    Clicking each link downloads Download Manager. If Download Manager did not download successfully, return to this page, click the Accept button and try again.
  3. Run Download Manager to start downloading the OS update file.
    If the download process is interrupted, run Download Manager again to resume.
  4. Burn each OS update image file to a DVD.
    Follow the instructions on burning an ISO file to a DVD.
